How Vinc works
Supporting a loved one, together. Here's how it works.
Vinc helps a family keep track of the support they give a loved one, so nobody has to chase anybody. It takes about a minute to understand.
Vinc never touches your money.
You keep sending support the way you already do: Zelle, a wire, a money app, cash. Vinc only keeps the shared record, so everyone knows what was promised and what arrived.
How money and the record are kept apart
The money (like always)
Zelle, wire, money app, cash. Vinc is not part of this.
The record (Vinc)
A shared note of what was promised and what was received.
How it works
-
Agree on your part
Vinc suggests an even share of the family's target. You can keep it or pick your own amount, and it isn't a contract.
-
Send it your usual way
Use whatever your family already uses. There is nothing to link: no card, no bank login.
-
Say you sent it
Reply with one short message. The person receiving support confirms it arrived, and everyone can see it's done.
Where does this happen?
In the app you already use: WhatsApp, Telegram, a text message or email. There's nothing to install and no account to build. Prefer a screen? There is a simple web page too.
Vinc is
Vinc is
- A shared record of each person's contribution amount and what they sent
- A gentle reminder, so no sibling has to nag
- A way for the person receiving support to confirm it arrived
Vinc is not
- A bank or a payment app
- Something that holds, moves or splits money
- Something that watches how the money is spent
Quick questions
Does it cost me anything?
No. Joining is free for you. The family member who set up the group covers the group's subscription.
Who can see my contribution amount and what I send?
The people in your family group can see each person's contribution amount and whether each month's support was confirmed. Vinc never asks for your bank login, card number or passwords.
What if I can't give this month?
Nothing is automatic and nothing is binding. Your contribution amount is a promise to your family, not a charge. You can change it whenever you talk to Vinc.
Am I talking to a person?
Vinc is an AI assistant. It handles the reminders and record-keeping so family members don't have to, and you can write in your own language. Your number is used only to run Vinc for your family. Details: Privacy.
How do I stop the messages?
Reply STOP to any text message and it stops. On WhatsApp or Telegram, just tell Vinc you'd like to step back.
Questions, or ready to start?
If you're already talking with Vinc, just reply there. If someone in your family invited you, open the link they sent.
